Helmet Specific Returns/Exchange Policy

By purchasing a helmet on our website or instore, you are agreeing to the below terms and condition for the helmets in full.
 
If you purchased your helmet instore, you have 7 days from the date of purchase to return your purchase to the store with accompanying original receipt. Failure to provide a receipt will result in your return request being denied.

If you purchased your helmet online, you have 7 days from delivery to lodge a return request from your online order history. Helmet returns are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. You must wait for approval confirmation via email before sending helmets back. We may contact you to discuss your return before approving/denying your request.

If your online return request is approved, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return the helmet to us. This means we must receive the helmet back before the 30th day from the date the original order was placed.

For helmet returns requesting a refund, there will be a 10% to 15% restocking fee. This fee is to cover transaction and processing fees, shipping costs and administrative time. This restocking fee is non-negotiable.

For helmet returns requesting an exchange, DO NOT purchase your new size/style. We must receive the originally purchased helmet back first and will process the exchange though our system against your original order. Failure to adhere will result in a 10% restocking fee for the originally purchased helmet.

If you wish to opt for a store credit, the restocking fee will not be incurred.

Criteria To Meet For Helmet Returns

Helmets must meet the following criteria to be considered for return/exchange:

  • The helmet must have only been tried on for fit and strictly not taken out for a ride. Helmets taken out for a ride will be deemed used/second hand and non-returnable.
  • Helmets must be in their original brand-new condition with original packaging including all tags, labels and stickers still attached (not reattached). If any have been removed or show signs having been removed, we will not accept the return.
  • If a pinlock was supplied with your helmet, it must not have been fitted and be in undamaged condition with protective film still attached.
  • Helmets must be free from smells such as perfume, cologne, smoke, body odour etc that would render the helmet to be unsellable.
  • Helmet interiors must be free from hair and dandruff.
  • Helmet must not be damaged in any way. This includes dropping of the helmet, altering the helmet from manufactures standard, affixing items to the helmet, scuffing or scratching of the helmet.
  • When returning helmets, they must be returned with the box (original packaging), DO NOT affix the label to the manufacturers helmet box, your return will be rejected and sent back to you. Please wrap the manufacturers helmet box up for postage or pack in a cardboard mailing box to protect the manufacturers helmet box.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure all conditions are met prior to taking to the post office. Failure to meet any of the above criteria will see the helmet returned to you at your own cost.

Return Postage Costs

All return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the helmet is received faulty or detective in which case you must notify Riders Line immediately via email with photos of the fault or defect. Helmets are thoroughly inspected before being shipped to customers to ensure a quality product is received.

Order Cancellations

If you elect to cancel an order before being shipped we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee that covers our processing time and lost merchant fees.

Crew Cash Rewards

If you elect to return an item from which you earned Crew Cash store credit, the amount of Crew Cash earned from the returned item will be cancelled and deducted from your Crew Cash account balance once we process your return. If this Crew Cash has already been used, we will deduct the equivalent amount from the total credited to your original payment method.

Gifts And Promotional Items

Any free gifts that were issued as part of a direct promotion for the item you wish to return must also be returned with the order. If the free gift(s) are not return we will deduct the equivalent supplier recommended retail price (RRP) from the total credited to your original payment method.

Final Sale Helmets

Any helmet marked as "Final Sale" are NOT eligible for return for refund or store credit due to change of mind. All sales are final. Contact us if you are unsure of sizing.
