CORDURA® DENIM is engineered with an intimate blend of military-grade INVISTA T420 nylon 6,6 staple fiber and cotton for an authentic denim look and feel with enhanced abrasion resistance and toughness.
CORDURA® is also breathable and can contain stretch properties, allowing you maximum range of motion all while remaining comfortable, whether you’re on or off the bike. Because of its authentic denim look, it’s easy to mistake this material for fashion garment from your favourite brand. Nevertheless, the strength of this material makes it road-ready.
‘Selvedge’ is the name for the higher-quality, harder-to-produce type of denim that is typically sold and worn unwashed. You can spot it on the cuffs of jeans. The selvedge in denim is usually white and often has a coloured yarn in the middle.
This technical term actually ought to be spelled ‘self-edge.’ The term refers to the self-finished edges on each side of fabric woven on shuttle looms. These edges don’t fray or unravel.
The stitching in motorcycle garments contributes greatly to the abrasion resistance of the total gear. This is why REV'IT! uses safety seams on garment areas at increased risk of impact. Safety seams have a visible as well as an invisible seam. This construction keeps the material of the outer shell together, even when the visible seam is thorn.
If you wear your jeans with the cuff rolled up, you gain another safety feature, with 7 inches of 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective tape stitched into the outer seams. So even if you hem these jeans, there should still be plenty of reflectivity left if you roll the cuff up.
The REVIT Lewis TF Jeans have been constructed using materials and tailoring techniques specifically designed to provide a high level of protection that motorcycle riding presents. Certified and independently tested to the EN 17092 Standard, published in 2020, the garment has passed extensive abrasion, burst and impact tests.
This garment uses a 13oz. weight of CORDURA® Denim specially loomed with a Selvedge unwashed finish. CORDURA® Denim is used thanks to its enhanced abrasion resistance and toughness over traditional cotton denim fabrics. Helping to keep riders safer on the road.
The REV’IT! Lewis Selvedge jeans come included with removable SEESMART™ RV36 knee and RV33 hip armour that is slim, flexible and barely noticeable under the jeans to retain the fashionable look. It offers the same unique molecular structure, allowing the material to transform kinetic energy from an impact into thermal energy.
Visible studs in the SEESMART™ protector are hexagon-shaped and connected by narrow connection bands. This construction enables the protectors to be extremely flexible and remain relatively thin; exactly what a protector designed for clothes that integrate into daily life need to keep from looking like motorcycle gear.
The hexagon shaped studs expand externally under impact, allowing them to absorb energy. This combination of external expansion and the use of SEEFLEX2925 material reduces impact energy, giving the protector its impact absorbing properties.

I’ve been struggling to find a pair of dark blue denim motorcycle jeans that are both protective & look good enough to wear with a blazer in a corporate office. The Rev’IT Lewis Selvedge jeans are a great option for me.
AA rated plus they look and feel awesome. Great slim cut that’s not too skinny. Armour is nice and slim. Dark blue denim doesn’t have the yellow tinge that my older motorcycle jeans do. Stretch denim is comfortable on the bike.
I’m 178cm tall and 71kg. The size 30 waist with 32 inseam fits me perfectly.
Service at Ridersline shopfront was great. Damien was friendly and knew his product.

Please Note: We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.
Waist Size: Measure the circumference, around the fullest part of your waist to verify.
Hip Size: Measure the circumference, from pelvic bone to pelvic bone, at the widest part of your hips below the waist.
Inseam: Measure from the highest point of your crotch down to your ankle, along your inner leg.
