Answer:
You should have no problem getting the REVIT Pacific rain suit to fit over you Gaerne boots. The rain suit has a wide leg opening specifically for that purpose. Once on, the leg opening can then be locked down around the boot using the integrated Velcro strip so there is no flapping.

Hello, What are the waist arm arm length measurements for 3xl?

Answer:
The arm length for a size 3XL in the REV'IT! Pacific Rain suit is 74cm measured from shoulder seam to the cuff on the outer seam. The waist measurement on the 3XL will accommodate up to a 120cm waist circumference. There are Velcro waist adjustment straps on the left and right that can be adjusted to tighten the waist fitment down further to about 100cm if required.

I have a Royal Enfield which is a very upright seating position. Rain gathers on my seat during heavy downpours so I always end up sitting in water during the ride (inevitably resulting in wet underpants!) Is this suit capable of protecting against this kind of soaking or is it only good for protecting against falling rain? Thanks!

Answer:
The REVIT Pacific 2 rain suits are designed to withstand a good soaking. The seams are tapped internally and then sonically welded to prevent water getting in. We have sold several hundred of these to all types of riders and we've had no reports that the crotch has leak through the seams. Care must be taken when zipping the suit up to make sure the double rain gutter and velcro closure is properly sealed across the main zipper.

Question:
Is this suit and sizing designed to go over jackets and pants with elbow, knee, shoulder and back protectors?

Answer:
Yes, the REV'IT! Pacific 2 Rain Suit is designed to go over existing motorcycle gear and has enough room to accommodate any existing armour that's in your regular riding gear as well. The exception to this is sports jacket/suits with the camel back hump. In which case, we would recommend a size up to accommodate the hump.

How heavy is this suit - I am looking for lightweight (lighter than the dririder hurrican 2) so that I can easily carry it with me on the bike.Thanks Regards John

Answer:
Thanks for your enquiry John regarding the REVIT Pacific 2 Rain Suit. These are an extremely light weight rain suit as they aren’t made from heavy weight PVC like the DriRider Hurricane is. They come with their own stuff stack carry bag and compact down to about to 20cm long by 15cm width. I’ve added an image to the product page showing the stuff stack. They weight about 550g give or take deepening on the size you require.

Is there a built in hood in the neck band to prevent water getting from helmet to neck.

Answer:
There is no built in hood on the REVIT Pacific rain suit however, the collar is quite high and has been specifically designed to fit up unter your helment all around your neck. This creates good barrier between the helment and the suit to stop rain going down you neck. We also have the Black Brand two-peice Tempest rain suit that does have a hood if that's a feature you really want with your rain suit.

Question:
I have the rev'it Sands 2 jacket which is a XYL in size which I think equates to a size 60........would a 3xl be big enough?

Answer:
Yes, a 3XL in the REVIT Pacific 2 Rain suit is equivalent to the 3XL in the Sand 2 jacket going by chest size. REVIT cut the rain suit a little bigger to fit over existing gear.

Question:
Is there a zip or velcro on the lower legs to assist getting on and off with boots?

Answer:
The legs are quite wide and easy to put on even over big boots. To lock down the excess material at the cuff there are three velcro strips. So you pull the excess material across the leg to can create a snug fit and prevent flapping and billowing. The base of the cuff is also elasticated.

Question:
What's the difference in inseam between the XL and 3XL? I'm 194cm tall, but my motorcycle jacket is a size 54 (I'm tall, but lean). I'm concerned if I get the 3XL for the leg length it will be too big and baggy everywhere else. What do you recommend?

Answer:
The inseam on a size large suit is 32" Inches (81cm). Yes, If you're a slim build the 3XL will be to baggy and loose. If you normally take a large jacket then get a large size in these rain suits. They have been cut slightly larger to accommodate and fit over your existing gear. No need to go up a size.

Question:
Does this suit have zips and gusset on the ankles for to easily get the suit on and off while wearing boots?

Answer:
The ankles on the suit have a large gusset that can be easily release and closed with a large velcro strip. There is no zip on the ankles. You can easily these rain suits on and off while wearing boots.

Regarding the REVIT! Pacific H2O Waterproof Rain Suit, I was wondering if you could tell me what the inseam length is? I'm 194cm tall and been commuting to work for 11 years and every pair of wet weather pants I have had have split at the crotch.

Answer:
Being 194cm tall (6'3") it sounds like you need a size 3XL. The inseam length on a 3XL is 34.5 Inches (87.5cm).
